About the Journal

The Journal of Recreation and Tourism Research (JRTR) is a peer-reviewed and scientific journal aimed at contributing to the academic knowledge base in the fields of tourism, recreation, and business. The journal publishes original research articles, conceptual reviews, literature reviews, and case studies in both Turkish and English, thereby promoting the sharing of knowledge at both national and international levels.

The first issue of the journal was published on March 30, 2014, as Volume 1, Issue 1, and it continues to serve the academic community with the mission of enhancing scientific quality. JRTR offers a broad perspective by including both theoretical and empirical studies, as well as sectoral applications, thereby contributing to the development of the disciplines of tourism and recreation.
