In the name of controlling our carbon footprint,it is important to establishing policies on an international scale and to develop awareness about the issue as tourists. The aim of this study is to establish a theoretical bond between the carbon footprint- sustainable tourism and to shed light on future work. The heroic contribution of the study is to demonstrate the seriousness of the subject with numerical data, detailing the he national-international level measures primarily in the tourism framework and to examine the individuals’ level of awareness.
