Abstract

Today, when the results of the ecological crisis are being seen concretely, ecological life practices and activities that support nature are preferred and desirable to learn more than ever. As a reflection of this, people have become more demanding to spend their free time in areas where they can experience and learn about life in nature and ecological life practices. In fact, people have started to travel for long stays to learn about ecological, natural and cultural life practices in different geographies as well as the farms in the countries they live in, by creating free time for ecological farms especially. In the scope of the research; The difficulties caused by this intensifying tourism and travel motivation to the farms and the difficulties brought by the ecological life they have chosen will be evaluated and possible solutions will be presented. For this purpose, the problems were analyzed with interviews with fifteen ecological living farms that host volunteers throughout the year and on-site observations made during the time spent in the eco-sites. The problems faced by ecological farms in Turkey are classified as the difficulties of natural life, problems arising from human interaction, and lack of financial and technical support.
